Our team messed with this for about 4-5 minutes to then have to have our game interrupted so they could replace it. they can hear and see you, there is no way they didn't know unless not doing their job, which is another problem) Second game, Taken, one of the puzzles in the room wasn't working. Especially when we finished with a lot of time left and talked about it several times at the end of the game. I understand human error, but dishonesty doesn't fly with me. The game maker then proceeded to act like he wasn't aware that all of this happened. Also, one of the puzzles was broken and couldn't be used, which we felt like we should have been informed about before starting. The first time doing Entrapment, one of the locks never got reset and we skipped a whole part of the room. They have the potential of being a really great company, but this location in particular just seems to not care. I've done 3 different rooms at this company now and all 3 times, something has gone wrong. I typically don't like to give companies bad reviews, but I've even emailed corporate and have heard nothing. Great Company… but once again not impressed with our Game Master. Considering how close we were to escaping, (they weren’t busy- the only team there, even showed up early) and how much time it took to receive our clues, we definitely would’ve escaped. If we had paid personally for this experience, I would’ve rated it lower. This was paid gift to us while celebrating a family member being in town. After a comment was made about wasting our time, she added just one minute. Towards the end we asked for a few more clues and spent about 3 minutes on a broken clue, unable to see the numbers and our timer on the safe was activated because the wrong code was given to us. Either giving us a clue we had already completed or taking AT LEAST 30 seconds to type up a clue while our timer was counting down. It seemed almost as if she wasn’t paying attention to what we were actually doing in the room. I rate this a 3 out of 5 because our Game Master lacked on giving us clues. Answer: The scientist is able to take flights to different time zones. We were so close to winning and we had a great time trying to get out of Taken! We as a whole feel as though we were robbed. If you need tips to escape, check out The Art of Escape. Bring your A-game or else you’ll be toast! So gather your favorite group and groove on over to Time Machine. This is a collaborative episode designed for four to seven participants located at the Montgomery Plaza in Fort Worth and OKC Chisholm Creek in Tract 30! (And if you’re a Red Key holder, you can take advantage of that free weekday perk! Find out how to become a Red Key holder here). I recently played and sadly #wealmostescaped, but this is definitely one episode that you’ll want to try a second time. Each of these eras is uniquely designed for a certain set of skills – detective skills, out of the box thinking, communication and dexterity. Those strong communication skills will come in handy as you work to find your way back to the present. However, with every good challenge comes the thrill and excitement when you complete each challenge! In this quirky story-line, your uncle told you specifically not to touch his time machine… but how could you not take it for a spin!? Now you and your friends are stuck in different eras and need to find your way back before the time machine’s battery drains! And what better to run a top-of-the-line time machine? Toast, of course! We don’t recommend trying this episode with strangers. If you thought Taken was hard, Time Machine splits your group into four rooms to start… four times the communication required. Time Machine takes the cake as our most difficult episode yet, not because of the puzzles, but because of the communication required to escape.
